Flapper's Plays the Lotto

"Hey what's this?"

 

It looks like a lottery ticket, Flapper.

 

Your friend Adam bought it for you as a gift.
But if you win big, you have to split the winnings with him.

"Wow! Thanks Adam!"

 

"How do we play it?"

 

Well Flapper, we just scratch off the front area and see if we get any matching numbers.

 

"Okay I'm going to scratch it now."

 

((scratch, scratch, scratch, quack, quack, scratch))

 

"What'd I win? I think I'll use the money to get a new pond and some spinach and ooh, maybe a sprinkler!"

 

"This is exciting!"
Well Flapper, I'm sorry to tell you this... but you didn't win.

 

"Not even a little bit? Not even enough for a new pond?"

 

No Flapper, not even a little bit. Sorry, buddy.

 

"Pthwww. Lotto schmotto."

 

"I can't believe I didn't even win a little bit. I had big plans for that money."

 

"Talk to the tail 'cause the beak don't want to hear it. Lotto is a waste of money."

 

"Yeah I guess you're right. Oh well. Thanks anyway, Adam."

 

"I really thought I had a chance 'cause it had a duck on it. And he was a lucky leprechaun."
"I know, Flapper. I know. Let's go to bed."
