Muscovins and Pekovies

"So Georgie, if we have ducklings, do you think we should raise them as Pekins or Muscovies?"

"What makes you think they're part Pekin?"

"She's just trying to make me insecure about my ducky masculinity, right?"

Yes, I think so Flapper.

Though she DID fly around a lot.

In fact she's out flying around the neighborhood today.

I'm sure she didn't find any other duck boyfriends though. Fairly sure. Pretty certain. Mostly.

"Is that where those other funny-looking eggs came from???"

No, Flapper. Those are fake plastic Easter eggs.

I put them in the nest so Georgie would stop laying more eggs and start sitting on them.

"If those eggs turn out to be another duck's, I'm going back to dating your slippers."
