Duckling Update
(July 25, 2005)

Hey look! It's the ducklings! How're you doing, kids?

 

"We're just waking up from a nap, Grandma."

 

It looks like Bingo Baloo is still in the middle of her nap.

 

So is Miss Murphy.
I brought you guys some romaine lettuce treats.

 

Ah now she's awake. Hi Bingo!

 

Wow, Miss Murphy. Your feathers are getting really pretty.
(Still the cutest).

 

Kozmo Kirby! You are... dare I say it? LARGER than your dad, Flapper! You're HUGE!
How did you get so big?!

 

"I think it was all the super-size french fries my dad ate."

 

Wow, you may be right, Kozmo. You're MUCH larger than any of the other ducks.
Beak and shoulders above the rest.

 

"It's not a hawk. It's just a butterfly fluttering by."
Good eye, Miss Murphy.

 

But then you've always had a good eye.

DUCKLING UPDATE DUCKLINGS TO RETURN HOME IN LATE AUGUST The ducklings are at the Forest Park Animal Farm in Everett, WA right now, but in late August they will be returning home, for good. When they first went to live at the park, I didn't realize they would be re-adopted out at the end of the summer. So rather than have them go to a stranger, they're coming home to live with their Grandma, duck mom Georgie and father Flapper. Better get busy adding another extension onto the ducky pen.
