Meeting Donna
(September 30, 2006)

Good morning, kids. How's everybody doing today?

"Mom? I'd like to introduce you to my new girlfriend."
Oh really? I'd be honored to meet her, Flapper.

"Donna? This is my Mom. Mom? This is my new girlfriend Donna."

"What's that, Donna?"

"She's a little bit shy and quiet, but I think she likes you, Mom."
Aww, that's nice Flapper. I like her too. Didn't you two used to date?

"Riley? Riley! NO! Get away from my girlfriend Donna!
Yeah, Mom. We broke up last year but she keeps hanging around. What can I do? She loves her some Flapper."

"You stay away, furry pig-duck! She's all mine!"

"Hey, you guys? Can Donna and I get a little privacy here, please?"

"What's that? Aww hee hee. Oh, Donna. I think your beak is pretty too."

"Do you think your friends could leave us alone sometimes, Donna?"

"I guess she's really social. She always has friends around her."

"That's okay. I don't mind if your friends hang around, as long as they know we're together."

"Me and my girlfriend, we're going to take a nap now."
Okay, Flapper. Sweet dreams.

"What does he see in her? I don't get it."

Flapper Fan Lori sent us this photo she took when visiting Hotel Flapper recently. It reveals the secrets behind having a celebrity duck. As you can see, Flapper is transported around in first-class celebrity style.

Flapper's human took a trip to the East coast, and got the chance to meet Deb and her ducks, as well as Caroline & Greg, two more animal-loving compadres. (There might have been a conference and a client meeting or two in that trip as well).

Flapper would like to welcome little guy Henry to Greg's family. Henry joins fellow rescued domestic skunk Honey, and as you can see, they became fast friends.

:: stay tuned ::
