Flapper in 'da House
(November 12, 2006)

It's been raining cats and dogs here in Seattle.

"Really?"
Not really, Meelee. It's just a figure of speech. But it's been raining a lot. And Flapper doesn't do that great in the rain.

"I don't like rain either. Will you dry my fur?"
You got it, Riley. Then let's bring Flapper in the house for a visit.

"Hello!? Anybody home?"
We're in here drying Riley off, Flapper. C'mon in.

"I'm looking for treats. Do you know where they are?"
Treats are in the refrigerator, Flapper.

"Can you open it for me?"
Sure, Flapper. Just let me finish drying Riley first.

"Okay but please hurry. My belly can't wait."

"YOU STAY OUT OF MY KITCHEN, SIMON!"

"I can't believe he just walked right in like that. Don't you keep these cats in line?"
You try to keep them in line, Flapper. They don't listen to me.

"Okay, no problem. Flapper on kitchen patrol. 10-4."

"Noonee noonee noonee nuu."

"Simon! SIIIMON!"

"Simon you come back here so I can keep you in line!"

"Simon?"

"These treats are good, mom. Thanks."

"I'm going to save some for later. They'd better be here when I get back."

"Let's go sit on the couch. Can we watch Animal Planet?"
Sure thing, Flapper.

"Riley no! Get out of my kitchen!"

"Riley! You better run!"

Aww, Riley. Did you get kicked out? I'm sorry girl.
"Ha ha ha you let a duck kick you out of the kitchen." - Hodjee

"I am the Kitchen King!"

When you're not in the house, Flapper, the cats and dog are allowed in the kitchen. You know that, right?
"What? That's ridiculous. I thought you kept them out for me?"

Sorry, Flapper. But we all share the kitchen.
"Hmph. I'm going to have to rethink my entire Kitchen Kingdom strategy."

"I'd better go. I think better outside."

"Can you open the door for me?"
Sure, Flapper. Good luck with your plans for Kitchen domination!
