Kozzy in the Grass
Kozzy is doing pretty well. He can’t walk, and there are still questions about his diagnosis, but he’s hanging in there. He may go in for another biopsy next Friday. They’ve offered to re-do it for free, because the samples they took were inconclusive. Kozmo and I are talking it over. We only want to do it again if there’s a chance it can offer him something new. We don’t want to do it just to satisfy anyone’s curiosity. The biopsy is tentatively scheduled for Friday, June 27th.

Dawn and I are praying for you, buddy. I’d go for the second biopsy. I would always want to know that there’s a chance for recovery, and know that we wish we could help take care of you and get you lots of french fries and peas and stuff.
Love and Hope,
Wayne
What Wayne said. If the tests are inconclusive and the retest is free, and if Kozzy is recovering well from the first biopsy, I would go for it. It might indeed offer something new.
He looks lovely in the leaves. Best to you and the duck family.
I agree with you, no tests if they are just to satisfy curiosity, only if there is that chance of something new that you mentioned. Going to the vet when it’s necessary causes enough stress for the animal. I’m there right now with two elderly kitties, trying to decide what’s best for them.
Fingers crossed for Kozmo.
I’m sure whatever decision you make will be the right one for you and Kozzie. It’s good that he’s able to enjoy the simple things — hanging out in the shade, having treats. He’s quite a lucky duck, to have a grandma like you.
Great photo.
