I am a baby ducky. I need a home. Do you need a baby ducky? I have a cute beak and also some very cute feeties. I’m super tiny. About the size of a small cupcake. I don’t have a name yet but I’ll get one soon. Right now I am sitting on some feathers that Kozmo Kirby left for me. I am the first rescued duckling being cared for by the Kozmo Kirby “It’s for a Good Koz” Memorial Fund.

My heart is breaking right now. I wish I could take you but we live in a small apartment with no outdoor space.
But Kozmo is working his magic from up there in ducky heaven (when he’s not gorging on peas). I know you’ll get a home very, very soon.
Hi, Cupcake! I think you should wiggle your way into your foster mom’s heart so you can stay with her forever- if you need tips and hints, just ask Chewy. He’s the one with the stripedy feets. Don’t tell your foster mom I told you this.

BTW, Cupcake, I’m not one to tell people what to do with their blogs, but if you would, can you pass along to your foster mom my suggestion that she put the link to the Memorial Fund somewhere prominent? This way it’ll always be fresh in people’s minds, and people who are koo koo for ducks like me will be more inclined to donate on a regular basis.
She probably thought about that already, though. I’m not sure what the limitations of the blogging software are.
Yeah – what Dawn said! How about a banner link to the Kozmo fund so people could put it up on their blogs?
And holy crap! Could that li’l duckie look any cuter? I’m stunned at how adorable it is. It reminds me of a Madeline cake, so assuming it’s not a drake, I’d humbly suggest that her name (for the time being) be Madeline.
Like some people said before, when you posted the note on Kozmo’s fund I was so sad over his passing that I totally forgot to donate. I just did. Maybe it’s a good idea to put a banner somewhere prominent.
I hope this little kid will find a loving forever home, I know one;-) But I hope s/he sticks around at Flapper’s yard for a while, duckling kisses are the best cure for everyting that troubles the mind.
And I am sure Kozmo had something to do with the appearance of this cute little thing.
Oh geez… I want to care for a rescue duck so badly I could cry. Our backyard could have a little pool and everything. I must research and then petition my husband who is very against more animals.
I will donate to the Koz this coming paycheck…

Pringles would offer a home to baby duck but Pringles sometimes has a lot of his own ducks to keep in line. Pringles loves pekins now, he thinks he is a white duck sometimes.
