Some people thought the black bow tie didn’t quite suit O’Malley. So this red dotted bow tie was retouched especially to bring out his professorial, nerdy side.

Don’t knock the bow tie. Am I the only geek here who remembers Peter Weller as Dr. Buckaroo Banzai? And what would Bond be without a crisply knotted bow tie? I think it shows a sign of great sartorial sense and class.
And in Flapper’s pic, dignity while standing in poop.
