Friends of Flapper
Our friend Janis came to visit us last weekend and took this photo of me and my three sons, Flapper, Chewy and O’Malley.
She caught a few photos of Flapper hanging out on my belly.
And caught this photo of ankle-biter O’Malley hitting on my garden shoes.
She even snapped a photo of Petunia, who is doing well and feeling pretty good these days.
Then we fed the kids some treats.
If you remember, Janis & her husband Todd are the ones who took in little Eddie last year.
Here’s her husband Todd along with Eddie, Daisy and Dewey.
They are also fostering two sweet geese right now, named Ben & Jerry. Anyone in the Phoenix area need some geese?

“My Three Sons” — heh. Remember that old show? Tiff, you should do a modern-day remake with your boys. Flap would be the know-it-all, pampered eldest; Malley would be the middle kid who acts out but who has a heart of gold; and Chewy would be the annoying little brother who always wants to tag along.
Ben and Jerry are two good-looking dudes, and their names are very appropriate. They look like two big ol’ scoops of chocolate chip ice cream.
I’m glad Eddie found such great parents.
Tiffany – I would LOVE it if you posted about how got your ducks to be so tame. We raised ducks, albeit 3 of them were Mallards, which are wild by nature, even hand raised. We did have 2 domestics, a Blue Swede and a Crested and we never could get them to be as friendly as your guys are. We hand raised, fed etc. Even though the male mallard came into the house to visit often, we never could pet them which was disappointing.
