Kozzy Doppelgänger

Look like anyone you know?
Kozmo Kirby has been gone for months now, but this is his look-alike or “doppelgänger.” He looks a lot like Kozzy I think. Our friend Jen saw him on vacation today and snapped this photo.
Here’s a photo of Kozmo from the archives for comparison.

It’s nice to know there are other good-lookin’ kids out there like Kozmo.
Thanks for sharing the photo, Jen.

I wonder if they are the same type of duck to have such close markings like that.
Yes, they are most certainly the same kind of duck. Likely muscovy-pekin hybrids with a muscovy mother and pekin father (just like Kozmo). Unfortunately that is the exact duck that duck farms use for foie gras production (which is evil and increasingly outlawed more and more places). They use this kind because they grow so very large.
Oh dear sweet Buddha! I can only hope he has a momma as nice as Kozmo’s. What a handsome yet goofy looking guy!
Wow! If it weren’t for the beak, I’d swear that was the same guy! They say everyone has a twin. Guess that goes for ducks too.
Hmmm. Thre smooth-edged toupe makes him look a bit like Bingo, and she had the spot in the middle of her beak, too. I miss Kozzy.
This is really creepy. That must have given you quite a startle.
He does look like the spitting image of Kozmo.
I miss Kozzie too, he was such a sweet and special kid, I love(d) him so much.
How cute, and yet, how sad in that he reminds us so strongly of Koz.
He looks even bigger than Koz, if that’s possible. He must shop at the same toupee store.
I must be ready for spring….I’m excited to see what ‘ducks needing homes’ will be coming your way Tiff. I never thought I would say I love seeing it rain. LOL I’m sure your ducks love going back outside and in their unfrozen pool.
that name is cool
If silly human ever wants to come visit pringles we can go see the Kozzy Doppelgänger. He lives on the indian land of the eastern band of cherokees in North Carolina.
