Rouba the Therapy Duck
Our friend MJ has a therapy duck named Peepers, shown in the video above. She also has a duck named Rouba. Unfortunately in the past two weeks, Rouba ate several loose coins left around the house, and suffered terrible metal toxic poisoning as a result.
Rouba was at death’s door but got her strength back long-enough to undergo endoscopy surgery to remove the stack of coins. She is slowly recovering, but now MJ is left with a veterinary bill she needs help paying. UPDATE: THE BILLS ARE PAID IN FULL! NO MORE DONATIONS NEEDED. THANK YOU!

therapy ducks?? how sweet! $10 is on the way for rouba’s recovery, the poor dear. hopefully more people can donate just a little something.
Thanks to everyone who donated towards Rouba’s surgery. She continues to do well and has even begun laying eggs on an almost daily basis. She’s rounding out nicely and making it quite clear why these domestic ducks are often referred to as TABLE DUCKS.
And she IS quite the ‘table duck’, guaranteed to be found beside the knee of the one she suspects will be most likely to slip her something from their dinner plate.
Her favorite game now is to skid across the kitchen floor, chasing pieces of cat food.
She has worked her way into the hearts of so many – and thanks to the Divine, who creates nothing that should go to waste – and your donations, she continues to do so.
