We are doing OK although I've noticed a few changes. Juno has taken on the role of super protector. She also began laying every day, whereas before she only laid an egg once in a while. It's like she feels she has to step up to doing what Thor did before. We still miss Thor the Thunder duck - it was a rotten way to go. Mr. Moor, my condolences to you on your loss. Sadie was a happy little kid who always seemed to be happy to see me, I will never forget how she came running toward me with a twinkle in her eye and peeping like a duckling. It's so sad I couldn't save her, she was with us for only six months but left a great impression on us. May she rest in peace. I'm sorry for Adrian, poor Thor. We do the best we can to keep them safe and healthy but things still happen. As for the raccoons and opossums; They have lost their fear of just about everything, including people....they will boldly hunt in your presence, and they can outrun you. And your dogs, your ducks, and occasionally, the neighbor's car. Prayers to all the family's of lost friends. When the time is right, remember that somewhere there is another little animal who is desperately looking for an open heart and a loving home. It’s so sad to loose an animal friend. We do the best we can to keep them safe and healthy but things still happen.

It really was his dear little paw print. It makes me cry to think of it. This is sad time. Mr Moor's duck died unexpectedly.
