They had been great family friends of my parents. Though I had not seen her in many years I was heart broken to hear of her passing. But she was a great woman and is missed dearly. I had hoped to one day be able to meet her. We spoke on the phone a few times through the years and her book "Duck, There's a Goose in the House" made it so much easier for me to understand the nature of geese and her compassionate and thoughtful commitment to these highly misunderstood waterfowl was a boon to the planet. She will be greatly missed. My condolences to Alan and family. What a gal! I am deeply saddened to learn of Nancy’s passing. I had hoped to one day be able to meet her. She gave me ideas how to introduce my new cat to my beloved Ungyung. She also scolded me quite a bit for spoiling him. I truly owe her a debt of gratitude. She was always willing to talk to me as long as I needed. My world just got a little dimmer to find that she is no longer in it. I am so shocked and saddened to see that Nancy has passed. She never failed to call me at home if I had trouble with Nibbles, whether it was a simple diaper problem or when Nibbles nearly lost her life this past Christmas Nancy called to check. I will miss going to see her at the fair in Fairburn. I know she was in great pain and she still went to the fair to play Mother Goose and teach the children and adults the joy of loving a duck or goose. She was my friend and I am saddened by her passing. God be with you and may she find St. Francis in heaven and her precious feathered children waiting by his side. Yes our leader will greatly be missed.
