I read on story about a crow that witnessed a building being demolished by explosions. After the building blew up, the crow could be heard going around saying, "Three, two, one, boom".

Russell and Cameron...awwwwww. That's really cute. I have always loved and been deeply fascinated by birds. That video is brilliant!

Aww. That's so sweet. Sort of reminds me of Peepers and Tweek the conures. They always groom each other, and one will call out if the other one's not there. But then Peepers will do something douchey like steal Tweek's food. Sigh....

I wonder if Russell was a hair dresser in a past life. I sometimes get irritated at the Starling birds that bully the smaller birds at the bird feeder! But I figure its nature and I enjoy all the birds that come to my feeder.

I personally don't understand being irritated by crows, or any animals for that matter. (People, now that's another story) In addition to being highly intelligent and social birds, crows are incredible early warning systems for trouble. I keep the house noises to a minimum just so I can hear what the crows outside have to say. They have quite a language if you pay attention and their alarm calls are always a sure sign of a predator nearby. So if you listen closely, you may be able to catch a glimpse of what is it that they are squawking about, be it an hawk, an eagle or sometimes even a bobcat.
