Run, little kid. RUN!

This is why Turk & Rex are kicked out of their forever home. Turk sneaks up on the little kids from behind and attacks them.
Run, little kid. RUN!
I appreciate that the family stopped to snap a photo before rescuing their kid. They’ve been good sports about the aggressive duck monsters I left at their home. I’m picking them up tomorrow to keep until a more suitable home can be found.
The photo is just a little tiny bit funny to me. Sorry little kid, but I laughed a little bit. I hope with several sessions of therapy you eventually overcome your fear of ducks someday.

Sorry, Little Kid, but I laughed pretty hard too. But mostly at what Tiff wrote here.
Would medication help these boys? Or a surgery to remove their little testosterone machines to chill out their bitey selves?
I’ll have to evaluate them while they’re here. I didn’t realize they’d do this or I never would have put them with a family. We’ll get them back here and see what’s up. Muscovies who are imprinted on humans bite. That’s the unfortunate side-effect of imprinting. It also makes them very difficult to place in a home now.
It looks like this photo was taken from a second-story window. So that means someone was lurking upstairs with a camera, waiting for one of the pterodactyls to attack the kid. That is twisted. And awesome.
Can I have the two ducks so that if any kids wander on to my property, they’ll take care of the matter?
I agree with Dawn. Haha!
I like Turk & Rex’s style. They have personality!
I think they have a future as guard-ducks.
Peggy, I’ve thought about suckering you into taking them already. But I’m afraid they would take on that bobcat instead of running the other way.
I like Peggy’s thinking.
Excellent guard ducks.
Is it wrong that I too found this funny? The ducks and the fact that the parents stopped to take a photo first.
Also, you are awesome for helping these two find homes.
And now I know to bring cat food, not wheat bread, to feed the ducks.
Hey,
I’m the one behind the camera I was taking pictures of the kids sweetly feeding the boys!It was just an accident I got that shot.
However that said …it was funny…I know,I know I am horrid…but it was.:0)
You should have seen the dogs and cats run…
We miss the boys and hope they find a wonderful home.
