I too am always amazed at how courageously you deal with your animals’ end-of-life issues. I know you’ll make the right decisions for Sunny and Meelee. We’ll be thinking of you.

Sometimes it’s so difficult to know when to let them go. Two of my three kitties made it very clear to me that they were ready, but one was more difficult. Ultimately all you can do is the best you can to help them go when the time is right…I think it’s one of the most difficult but compassionate choices we as sentient creatures can make.

My thoughts are with you all. I am struggling with an ill kitty at the moment as well, so I sympathize.

Sending you lots of love. I’m always amazed at how courageously you can handle this. I know that we love and spoil them for as long as we can and then we have to say goodbye, but sometimes that’s easier said than done. For me at least.

I know you will make the best decision for your little friends. They couldn’t find better care. Stay strong.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful assessment of dealing with end-of-life issues. Caring for animals means doing the right thing for them, even though it may be hard for us. I’m glad that Sunny and Meelee have had such a wonderful stretch of time with you and your excellent care. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.

I had a duck who couldn’t walk (she was fed chicken feed at the store). Her best friends were the chickens and we had one chicken who would always snuggle with her. It was an awesome sight to see. I hope the forever home they go, they can all stay together.

I’m sorry about Melee. I will keep my fingers crossed and hope she bounce back, just once more.

My heart aches for little Sunny Bunches and Meelee, but a little more for Sunny. Meelee is elderly and has lived a good long life, whereas Sunny’s ailment/s stem from abuse and neglect. She is such a good little duck and it hurts to see her in pain and frustrated. I think it is so touching to see her chicken sisters take good care of her. Tiff, thank you so much for being an angel to them. I am sending you and the young ‘uns lots of wellness and courage vibes.
