Juno’s forever family just sent us this note:

“Here are a couple of photos of the 3 pals on the one year anniversary of Juno’s arrival with us. They are doing very well, and have a great time together foraging, hanging out, and splashing in the ponds. They are very content – and survived the hot weather just fine. With the extremes so far this year, it seems we’ve had every opportunity to experience what duck ownership is really like.

Juno continues to be a force to be reckoned with – she pretty much runs the roost and Mr. Dodo follows her around everywhere. Fling has even faced the wrath of Juno – quite a turn about from the hazing Fling and Thor inflicted on Juno last September! I’d like to say she doesn’t carry a grudge, but who knows? We just clipped both Juno and Mr. Dodo’s wings again so we keep them close to home. They are still almost interchangeable, but we know who’s who most of the time.”

Of course when we hear from Juno, we also hear from Mr. Dodo too. I think he is the one closer to the camera in this photo.

It’s hard to believe it’s been a full year since Juno was rescued and sent to such a great forever home.

It seems just like yesterday when Juno was chasing Chewy around the yard. I know Chewy still has flashbacks from time to time… ha ha.
