I had a pair when I was a kid, and every now and then they would seem to briefly freeze and go into a stupor. They would also bite very hard, and they were really good with faces; unfamiliar people going into the back yard would be met with the trademark raised head feathers, bobbing heads, and that hoarse cackling. You see why I have to keep my boys separated, let them loose and one will get terribly hurt. I hope you'll find good homes for them once they're done molting. I love watching their bums in the video. They get the whole body involved in this moulting stance.
