Simon Update

Simon’s blood work came back very very normal. This is GREAT as his liver could have been damaged from losing weight too fast. His liver could still could get damaged if we can’t get him to eat better very soon, but for now… he’s in good shape. This is great news! He will stay on appetite stimulant drugs every day until he is eating a can of wet food each day. He takes pills just fine, and as long as he is eating on his own, I don’t have to force feed him again. Boy I sure hope he keeps eating on his own, because I will not survive if I have to force feed him.
This look he’s giving me in the photo above is the “please stop singing and never sing again” look. I was serenading him and he just hates singing so much that he paws my face and bites my chin to make the horrible noise stop. He ate several bites of food tonight at several different times, and also played with the laser light. Hopefully that means he’s feeling a little better.

Maybe you should buy some singing food, he’ll gladly bite into that;-) No kidding, I’m happy to hear that his blood work was good and that his liver is in order, I don’t think it can poison itself so quickly, cats can do without food for a while, but better not take the risk and start eating Simon.
He looks good, best wishes buddy! Behave yourself:-)
LOL @ Peter’s suggestion for “singing food”… that’s a good one! Thanks for the update on Simon, I’m so glad to read the good news.
Keep eating Simon, or Tiff will continue to sing to you.
Simon. lol She’s really that bad? That’s really cute though. Glad to know you’re a ok, just keep on eating
Glad to hear good news! You deserve good news in the pet department!
So happy that Simon’s blood work is okay!! Keep eating, big boy!
Woo hoo!
I’ve been given the “please stop singing and never sing again” face more than once.
Glad to hear Chewey and Simon are feeling better. Cats really are NEVER music lovers even on a good day. I’ve tried many different genres and all you get is the same look that says “CUT OUT THAT RACKET, WILL YA?

I HAVE A DUCK THAT WILL NOT STOP SNEEZING
Joshua: First, make sure your duck has water that is deep-enough to clean out her nares in. The water dish should be at least 4″ deep.
Then, get your duck to a qualified veterinarian for a check-up. No one online or on forums is going to give you credible advice if they have not examined the duck and are not an avian veterinarian. You can use this website to find a qualified avian veterinarian:
