Joshua: First, make sure your duck has water that is deep-enough to clean out her nares in. The water dish should be at least 4″ deep.

Then, get your duck to a qualified veterinarian for a check-up. No one online or on forums is going to give you credible advice if they have not examined the duck and are not an avian veterinarian. You can use this website to find a qualified avian veterinarian:

Maybe you should buy some singing food, he’ll gladly bite into that;-) No kidding, I’m happy to hear that his blood work was good and that his liver is in order, I don’t think it can poison itself so quickly, cats can do without food for a while, but better not take the risk and start eating Simon.
