It's always hard when one of our pets is having a hard time. Like you said, there aren't many duck surgeons. I'm glad there have been enough bugs to go around to everyone. Sorry to hear Flapper isn't feeling too well, I've been wondering how we was getting on with his new medication. I'm sorry his behind is still giving you cause for concern, it's hard to see our sweeties in pain. I've kept Snuggles (and Sophie) penned all this Winter, his bummed leg isn't any good on ice and snow, but he's doing very well with it. Once the temperatures rise and the yard is green again I'll release him, I'm sure he's ready for it. Best wishes for Flapper, I hope he won't need surgery, have you considered natural remedies?
