Flapper & family would like to wish heartfelt condolences to Pansy and Greg for the loss of their beautiful duck Quack Quack.
Quack Quack
Their special duck/kid Quack Quack lived to be 9-years and 18-days-old, which is really good for a ducky. Quack Quack is irreplaceable and will be sorely missed. All the best to Pansy and Greg during this difficult time. We’re so sorry for your loss.

Kozmo thanked me for scratching all his head feathers tonight. He sits on my lap each evening and we scratch and fluff his head, cheeks, chin and neck. It seems to perk him up and I’ll bet it feels great. Now that his legs don’t work, he can’t do it himself. So I’m his scratch helper.

He is doing okay after his second biopsy. The wound was much bigger and will take longer to heal. But it’s healing. The results of his biopsy aren’t back yet. We know he has a huge mass, so I’m not quite sure if the results will matter at all. The vets didn’t sound very confident about being able to remove the mass. If they’re not confident, I’m not all that confident in letting them even try to remove it. Kozmo seems pain-free and happy-go-lucky, so that’s good enough for now.

When we get the biopsy results we’ll post another update.

Quacks,

Tiff
