Flapper's new duck pen, or "I seriously need to get you OUT of the guest bedroom!"
Here is Flapper's baby pond in the foreground
and his new pen and house in the background.
We need to get some stones to make a path from the pond to the house.
The pen is 8' x 4' and the house is a modified cedar cat house
The duck house has a removable
floor for easy cleaning.
So far, Flapper refuses to go in it.
The pen is constructed of 2"x2"x4'
posts and a LOT of 1/2" chicken wire, screws and staples.
The floor will have 2" of gravel and river rock on top of the bottom
wire.
Look how big my wings are!
Maybe someday my wings will be as big as my belly.
